The time is getting near for this year’s Yarmouth Clam Festival, running July 16 – 18. The yearly event offers great food, fun rides, and a huge display of beautiful artwork by local artists and crafts people. This year, you can get a jump on 2010 merchandise at the Yarmouth Clam Festival’s Online Gift Shop. Two new items are live today: The 2010 Poster by Betsy McLellan, and the Limited Edition Clam Bead by Sam Lawrence. Details below!
By purchasing a Clam Bead, you’ll be supporting Yarmouth-based glass artist, Sam Lawrence. His online bio reads:
Sam Lawrence has been working with glass for over seven years. Starting with beadmaking while in High School, Sam has continued to study various techniques in this medium and enjoys the variety of items he is able to make with glass. He is presently on medical leave from Art School at Alfred University, recovering from a Traumatic Brain Injury he suffered four years ago.
